Dan and his team from Island Homecraft just finished a full kitchen renovation in our home.  We are extremely happy with the result!  The whole process was about as good as it gets.  When Dan first came to our house, he listened to all our desires, and provided a pretty accurate estimate, and followed through with every promise.  Dan was very communicative during the whole process, and his team consisting of Steve, Keith and Pete were professional, extremely talented, and a pleasure to have gotten to know. Our horror story:  we contracted with another company and, after rip out, discovered the cabinets were the wrong color.  After ordering the cabinets from a reliable cabinet shop, Dan took over cabinet installation and coordination of the trades. Complicating everything was weather in the midwest, delaying shipping, local weather (blizzard) delaying delivery, and vacation plans, which we delayed. Dan promised the cabinets would be installed in 2 days.  He kept his word.  Keith and Steve just completed the cabinet installation.  Their work is professional, accurate, pristine, and they are personable and pleasant young men. They were considerate of our home, cleaning up at the end of the day. Island Homecraft’s  Dan Bolger, and his expert crew, recently knocked down a wall and combined and remodeled our kitchen and dining room area. My wife and I could not be happier with  the results of their work. Dan is professional, respectful, incredibly responsive, and flexible, as is his crew of Pete, Keith, and Steve. They created a wonderful comfort zone for us, to the point where my wife and I would leave the house and just let them do their jobs. I did a ton of research and had a bunch of contractors come by before I decided to use Island Homecraft (recommended by my roofer DiCostanzo construction who is also great) to do our kitchen/first floor renovation and could not be happier. Dan the owner is honest, straightforward and fair from the first meeting he was upfront about costs and timeline and gave me a huge list of references which I called quite a few and all had nice things to say. During the project  He was always  available via text or call to answer any questions or concerns or update me on the schedule which was a comfort to us. His crew (Steve,Keith,Pete)are friendly and skilled they do beautiful work and always took a few minutes to chat and show me what they were working on. Everyone from the plumber, electrician and all trades were professional and skilled.   The job moved along in a timely manner with no big issues due to their expertise and any small issues were handled quickly.  On Dans recommendation We used Gallo Rosso kitchens (Dom the owner) for our design/cabinetry and were thrilled with him as well (separate review on his page) . I can go on and on but at the end of the day a big Reno is a stressful thing no matter what, but having a contractor who is trustworthy, honest, fair and does great work makes it a lot less stressful and we would for sure use them again. We just had IHC redo both our bathrooms and just like the first time we used them we are more than happy, it all came out great. Dan, his guys and his group of subs are all top notch was. IHC was my first and only call when it came time to do the bathrooms I knew I could trust the team to do a great job and they did. Dan and his crew remodeled my elderly mom’s bathroom (total gut and redesign) and we couldn’t be happier with the results.  From start to finish, Dan and his crew were amazing: polite, professional, great communication, and so kind and respectful toward my mom.  They went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable during the process and left the premises clean at the end of each workday.  I had many questions throughout the remodel, and Dan and his crew were always available, either answering my calls or texts immediately or within minutes. Dan Bolger was recommended to me by a work colleague. We had a big project- Kitchen + 3 bathroom Reno. The very first meeting, Dan was knowledgeable, helpful and professional in helping us develop a reno plan along with timelines and budget. Subsequent meetings were similar with clear plans, time frames for completion and constant communication. The entire project was completed within the time frame, communication was on point and excellent, Dan’s team was punctual, professional, pleasant, experienced and talented. The end results were more splendid than we could have expected. All work was done to the highest standards. They came highly recommended to us and we gave them a call.   Dan came to my home already having reviewed the plans made by Dominick at Gallo Rosso Kitchen Design.  He was professional, thorough, very knowledgeable of what was to be done and showed us pictures of previous jobs of the same nature.  He provided us with a list of previous customers we could contact for references.  He provided us with a detailed contract, a timeline of the project, and any unexpected costs that may arise. His crew was there early each day explaining what would be done and what we should expect. Everybody involved respected our home and provided protective measures for our furniture, appliances, floors and other rooms.   They swept and vacuumed  EVERY night leaving a clean workspace for the following day.  We were informed every step of the process and notified of any glitches (damaged items, backordered parts, etc.). Any minor details were immediately taken care of.  Our input was always priority and the project was completed on time, within budget, and without any issues. As an experienced DIYer who always renovated my home of 35+ years myself, figuring "if you want it done right, do it yourself", I entrusted Dan and his crew and didn't regret it. Dan from Island homecraft runs a great home improvement company! We’ve had him do our kitchen re model a few years ago and just had him back for a window job, we also have planes to see him back for a deck. As an Electrician for 30 years, I am not used to having contractors perform work on my home. However, I was doing a major renovation including the complete remodel of my kitchen, dining room, living room, and new stairs/hallway that was more than I would be handle. Dan was the first contractor I met with and I knew right away he was the guy. At our first meeting, he brought his Kitchen designer Dominick from Gallo Rosso and went over everything in detail. Come project time, Dan and his crew were punctual and showed up as scheduled. Dan’s Crew are true craftsmen and all of his subs/trades are licensed professionals. Their quality workmanship was evident in both the things you can see, as well as the things you can’t. My husband and I hired Island Homecraft for our kitchen remodel and we could not be happier with the turn out. Dan and his crew of contractors were amazing. They were always here when they said they would be here, cleaned up after themselves and were always very friendly. Keith was our man contractor and he was amazing. At the beginning of our kitchen renovation, we interviewed several potential contractors. Dan Bogler of Island Homecraft was the most prepared contractor we interviewed. In his initial meeting, he took a real interest in what we were looking for, offered a full set of references, and left us with a written preliminary estimate of the project scope and cost. He also partnered with Dominick Coppola of Gallo Rosso Kitchen Designs to offer a comprehensive solution to our kitchen renovation.  In terms of cost, the proposal was reasonable given the scope of our project. Once we decided to hire Dan and Dominick to handle our kitchen renovation, they memorialized everything we discussed in an easy to understand written contract. In addition, we were left with a clear timeline, an understanding of what materials were being provided, and what materials we needed to purchase. During our kitchen renovation, Dan, his Island Homecraft team, and all of the subcontractors were 100% professionals who did a great job. We were updated daily on the project status and updated as to when members of the renovation team would be on site at our home. Now that our project is completed, our new kitchen looks spectacular. We are very happy with how the project turns out.
